Branch Honored With Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area™ 2023

Nine years ago this month, the first line of Branch code was written. Since then, we’ve been working towards our mission of making the mobile ecosystem more connected, open, and relevant with a team of diverse, passionate, collaborative, and humble individuals driving our efforts. The culture we started building on day one has grown from a single room in Silicon Valley to a global team that continues to break down walled gardens and redefine the future of mobile.

We are excited to share that Branch has been honored for the second time on the Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area list, making this our fourth time being named on Fortune Best Workplaces lists. We are ecstatic to receive this honor, and we recognize it is because our employees live Branch values that we continue to succeed in our culture and in our product.

“Branch is made up of talented individuals from every corner of the globe," said Robin Lykins, Branch Chief People Officer. "It is because of their passion, diverse backgrounds, and collaboration that we continue to make strides in our mission and our culture."

The 2023 Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area award is based on an analysis by Great Place to Work® of more than one million employee survey responses. We were Great Place to Work-Certified™ with 95% of employees agreeing Branch is a great place to work compared to 59% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

The methodology for Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area 2023:

To produce the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area, Fortune partnered with the people analytics firm Great Place To Work®. The list is determined using Great Place To Work’s For All methodology to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, and based on over 1 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing more than 6.1 million employees, this year alone.

The survey enables employees to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback about their organization’s culture by responding to 60 statements on a 5-point scale and answering two open-ended questions.
