What is a content preview?
A content preview is a summary of a longer piece of content like an article, blog post, or video. Content previews give readers a taste of the content and entice them to further engage with it. They can be displayed in many ways, via search results, social media, or websites.
Content previews for apps offer a preview of in-app content and are usually used by marketers as a way to increase the conversion from a click to an app install.
When a user opens a link to an app or a webpage with deep linking configured, and does not have the app installed, a content preview allows them to get a look inside the app before being sent directly to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
