What are App Clips?
App Clips are smaller, lighter versions of apps that help iPhone users do a specific task — like order take-out or rent a scooter. They allow users the chance to try out part of an app the moment they need it, before downloading the full app from the App Store.
App Clips provide a native experience for interacting with part of an app. They can be initiated via NFT tags, QR codes, Safari banners, links in messages, or Place Cards in Maps. They also allow access to the app developer to present the user with notifications within eight hours of launching the App Clip.
